Team Bonding

Went out last night with the Team, before we all begin to go our different ways. In truth, we've already begun to scatter across the globe- still, it was nice to get together to re-live the 'good old days' one more time. Although I didn't realize it through most of college, when I reflect back on the last 4 years, I realize that these are the people who, when I'm forty, I'll be ditching my responsible life for to go throw back a beer.
Unlike the roommates (The Diplomat, the Nerd, and the Socialite), they won't be the friends that never really go away- but you really can't replace the spot the Team holds in your social universe. They're my "know you so well that 30 minutes or 3 years really won't make a difference" buddies. There's something to be said for the bonds of sweat and tears- glad to call them my 'college friends.'

I love the Team.

Also, I am getting old.
